I've used acrylic paints and wood blocks to stamp these Kindle covers. They were so boring, but now have a little bit of pizzazz! Much fun.

Make sure the covers are grease-free, then stamp directly with acrylics

This really pepped up my old Kindle cover

Just make sure you hold the cover very steady if stamping down the spine

This acrylic has a little sparkle built in (from Cadence)

These are normal commercially available tablet covers, nothing special, and took the paint beautifully. No special preparation needed apart from making sure they were clean and grease free. I added support while stamping, by puting a paperback inside while stamping.
I used a paisley block and a leaf border, both from Blockwallah.
