Sketch

 Hi everyone! I have to apologise for not posting for ages - totally lost my mojo, so I quit doing DT (design team) work and had a good rest.

This is a gesture sketch - I used a large flat brush, leftover acrylic paint and a lot of water. Straight onto the paper, no preliminary drawing with pencil etc first.

I hadn't even cleaned the brush - just left the paint it had on already, but dipped the brush in water and let it do its thing. Which gave the brushmarks and the blits and blots in the shading (which I thought was rather good re texture). So it took me less than a minute, and I left it strictly alone. No fussing around!

This is on an 8in x 8in page, in my Pink Pig journal (lovely smooth paper, a natural creamy white). Hope you like it!
